Winter Break

I hope you've all had a wonderul Thanksgiving! We've only got a few weeks until winter break! We'll be reading a fun Christmas book each day of class and we'll finish off with our Polar Express party on the last day of school. Winter Break is December 17 - January 7. See you all in 2011!

Fun on the Farm

We're going to finish off our farming unit with a trip to Superstition Springs Farm! We'll be learning about the animals on a working dairy farm! We'll also have milk tasting and enjoy their small petting zoo too! Please look for more information on the sign-in table! See you there~

Dino-might

D is for Dinosaurs! We're going to take our first field trip to the Arizona Southwest Museum the first week of September! We'll learn about the different types of dinos as well as where they lived and what they would eat! Look for your favorite dinosaur at the museum! See you there!

A is for Apple

We've had a great time so far and now we're beginning our letter study! A is for Apple so please send your student to school with one green or red apple for an art project and apple tasting!

Now Enrolling

Kid Academy is now enrolling for the 2010-2011 school year. There will be two classes available. Our Little Freshman class will be Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:45-10:45am. Our Super Seniors will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45-11:15am. School will start on August 9th! If you would like to register your child now please contact me at kidacademy@gmail.com ! Welcome

I now have three wonderful preschool classes! There are spots available in both two day programs if you are interested! During our 3rd quarter we will complete our numbers and letters and begin review. In the two older classes we will discuss math concepts such as adding, subtracting, greater than and less than, and graphing. We will learn the vowels and review our consenants. We have one final field trip in the spring to the Fire Station! Thank you to all of my wonderful parents for helping to make this year such a great success!

Open House

I will be hosting an open house on Tuesday January 5th at 10am for all of my wait list students. I still have one opening in each of my 2-day classes!
